Arnaud Vaissié

Arnaud Vaissié is co-founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of International SOS, the world’s leading international healthcare, medical assistance, and security services company. International SOS provides integrated medical, clinical and security solutions to organisations with international operations.

After graduating from the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris, Arnaud Vaissié began his business career as a Financial Executive in France, then moved to San Francisco as Head of Compass Inc for America.

In 1985 Mr Vaissié founded International SOS with Dr Pascal Rey-Herme in Singapore, pioneering international-standard healthcare, medical and then security assistance services for multinational corporations. Under his leadership International SOS has expanded first throughout Asia, in the US and finally in Europe.

The company is the worldwide leader in its field with 8,000 employees including 970 full-time physicians and 200 security specialists in 70 countries, serving millions of members worldwide. It provides services to 69% of the Global Fortune 500 companies, as well as governmental and non-governmental organisations.

With 25 years spent abroad, Arnaud Vaissié brings a wealth of experience in international affairs and the challenges facing global organisations. He is Chairman of the French Chamber of Commerce in the UK and has co-founded a think-tank, Le Cercle d’outre-Manche, which looks at competitive issues among European Union members.

Arnaud Vaissié is a member of the Légion d’honneur. In 2009 Mr Vaissié was honored as Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year from Singapore.
